Once you have quit you will find that:

  • 20 mins - blood pressure drops and your pulse will return to normal
  • 8 hours - carbon monoxide levels in the blood will drop and oxygen will increase.
  • 24 hours - chances of a heart attack are decreased.
  • 48 hours - nerve endings regrow.
  • 2 weeks - circulation improves, lung function has increased.
  • 1 month - you will get re growth in your lungs and airways, energy levels are increased, coughing, sinus problems, tirdness and shortness of breath have all decreased.
